When renting the second floor from a fiercely nazi-loving German landlady, every word exchanged needs to be carefully weighed before spoken. For the duration of the war, Marga is faced with decisions no teenager should ever have to make. Guided by keen instinct, nerve and courage, she risks her own life in order to save the lives of family members, friends and total strangers.
